Cost effective PIFOC sets from PI for the microscopy market

The P-721 PIFOC® series from Physik Instrument has sold successfully on the microscopy market for many years. With the release of a low cost digital controller option Physik Instrumente now offers a high quality PIFOC & Controller systems for a very attractive price!

The systems are available with P-721 PIFOCs ® with strain gauge or capacitive sensor. For each sensor version you can choose between a conventional M25 QuickLock version and a new M32 QuickLock version with large free aperture.  All systems include the E-709.CRG or E-709.SRG controller.

For 2 Photon Microscopy macro type objectives Physik Instrumente introduces special M32 threaded versions from microscope manufacturers – e.g. from Leica and Nikon.

Some of the advantages from Physik Instrumente PIFOC® series:
- PICMA® ceramics inside for highest reliability and life time,  also when exposed to high levels of humidity,
- Upright and Inverted Operation for highest flexibility,
- Large Free Aperture. Only Physik Instrumente currently offers PIFOC® systems with up to 29 mm free aperture. This is of benefit in e.g. Two Photon Microscopy in embryology, stem cell research etc. where large and thick samples need to be examined with high resolution,
- Ease of mechanical integration. Physik Instrumente offers a comprehensive range of threaded inserts that allow integration to every microscope,
