1) Fiber Lasers and Super Continuum Light Sources
ALT supplies the Koheras™ Fiber Lasers from NKT Photonics. These are ultra low noise sources with longitudinal single mode and single frequency operation. The lasers are based on a Distributed Feed-Back design ensuring robust and reliable operation. They offer unmatched low phase and intensity noise levels, very high stability and mode-hop free inherent single frequency output - both under stable and uneven
environmental conditions. Fully integrated systems operate within the 1 and 1.5 micron wavelength range, and with output power levels from 10 mW to 1 W, optionally higher. Typical applications for the Koheras Lasers include interferometric sensing, wind Doppler LIDAR, spectroscopy, and basic research.
ALT also offers the NKT Photonics SuperK family of ultra broadband supercontinuum light sources, combining the spectral brightness of a laser with the wide bandwidth of a lamp - all delivered in a single mode fiber. The SuperK system of supercontinuum lasers and accessories features high reliability in an industrial turn-key format. The SuperK is completed with the SpektraK accessory range composed of plug-and-play filters and fiber delivery systems that enable robust filtering and routing options in an easy-to-use format. Existing systems can be also easily upgraded to more powerful SuperK lasers or equipped with new filters.

2) Solid State Lasers
Oxxius lasers bring an answer to cutting-edge application requirements such as fluorescence analytics, Raman spectroscopy or non destructive testing and metrology. Oxxius can provide you with ultra-stable laser modules covering a wide range of wavelengths, with a narrow spectral bandwidth and Single Longitudinal Mode lasers with outstanding wavelength stability.
Two advanced product platforms have been designed to cover as broad as possible a panel of applications. The SLIM product platform relies on a proprietary monolithic diode pumped solid state (DPSS) architecture, while the Laserboxx product line integrates state-of-the-art laser diodes in versatile, high performance modules.

3) Passively Q-Switched Lasers
ALT represents Teem Photonics, a French-based supplier with a broad range of passively Q-switched microlasers. Nearly 50 different models are available, ranging from near infrared, green, and ultraviolet wavelengths, at pulse energy levels from 0.1 up to 300 µJ and repetition rates up to 40kHz. There are three main families of products specifically designed to carefully match the requirement of your application.
The Microchip products are composed of the high peak power compact sealed or unsealed family. The Powerchip products of the Ultra High peak power compact sealed family. And last but not least, the Picospark range of the ultra High peak power & High frequency fiber amplified family. An extended offering of MLC controllers allow flexible use either in research labs or in an industrial environment.

4) Ultrafast Lasers
TimeBandwidth Products is a leading supplier of diode-pumped solid-state femtosecond and picosecond lasers relying on direct diode pumping and custom developed semiconductor saturable absorber mirrors (SESAMs). TimeBandwidth Products develops and manufactures individually customized ultrafast laser systems which are both extremely compact and easy-to-use. Time Bandwidth Products is active in
developing ultrafast lasers for several fields including Ultrafast material processing, Fluorescent Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM), TCSPC, Raman microscopy, CARS microscopy, multiphoton imaging, nanosurgery, optical tweezers, to name a few.
Many of the company's lasers can have their wavelength converted: second harmonic generation (SHG), third harmonic generation (THG), fourth harmonic generation (FHG), and continuum generation. For some lasers, automatic computer controlled switching between wavelengths in the laser output is available.

5) Light Emitting Diodes
LED's are becoming more and more populair for Scientific applications. Especially for Microscopy experiments where incoherent light is acceptable, a LED is an interesting and cost-effective alternative for a Laser. ALT offerst the entire range of mounted, unmounted and collimated LED's from Thorlabs, including drivers.

6) Laser Beam Measurment & Diagnostics
ALT represents Canadian based Gentec-EO. This company has been manufacturing laser beam measurement devices for over 35 years providing innovative and quality solutions for laser beam measurement applications from the factory to the hospital and laboratory. The Gentec-EO product line includes a complete range of laser power meters, laser energy meters, monitors, photo detectors, OEM detectors, beam diagnostics and diffractive optics.
