Physik Instrumente has an independent subsidiary in the holding called PI Ceramic. PI Ceramic develops en manufactures high-quality piezoceramic products for nanopositioning.  PI Ceramic has specialized in small and medium-sized series of Piezo elements. Like its parent company Physik Instrumente, PI Ceramic focuses on customized products and solutions.
